Dogs are considered to be very lucky animals by the chinese because dogs stick with their owners through thick and thin. They are very caring and loyal creatures who will give warnings when danger approaches. Back in the past, people were able to predict good or bad luck according to the number of times a dog barked. 

Dogs are the eleventh animal in the Chinese zodiac cycle and are a symbol of justice & equality.
