Acala means "King of Wisdom" in Sanskrit. The Buddhist deity Acala is often portrayed as shrouded in flames, helping to set fire to negativity. He holds a sword to protect the weak and the chains are to recollect those who have strayed from the right path. He may seem ferocious, but his true nature is benevolent and his goal is to forever serve the rooster in need of his wisdom, faith and attention.
